Absolutely, positively wonderful pizza! I’m a NY/NJ transplant. I have definite palate preferences for pizza (as in, I’m always looking for a pizza that tastes as it should [NY—style]). This hits the mark! THIS! is the way a pizza with pepperoni and extra cheese should look! (Sorry for the picture missing two slices, but my husband literally moaned when he opened the box and stole 2 slices before I could get a pic)! 07/15/2023—Came back for a Greenway Pizza with extra cheese and cannoli. Perfect cannoli! Properly prepared cannoli should be filled right at the serving time. Otherwise, they get soggy. Yum!
The only authentic garlic knots I've had in Morganton. Delicious big juicy chicken wings! Had a peppermint cannoli for the first time! Yum! The teen server was so kind and attentive so was the cashier. Definitely going back.
I'm a connoisseur of pizza... always looking for great pizza. I own a DJ company and spend alot of time behind the wheel. Greenway Pizza didn't disappoint. Service, food, taste, quality... all a 10/10. Definitely give this place a try. It's a small former gas station converted to a pizza place... which I feel adds to the atmosphere.
I hope when you visit this restaurant you come with an empty belly because they give enough food for you and you'll leave with extra. The food is awesome, to say the least. My son and I enjoyed our meal. Thank you for the great experience and the welcome faces.
Great food!!! We moved here from NY this is the closest you can get in Burke County!! Flavor bomb!!!! I highly recommend, no one was left hungry at my table! The portions are true to cost value ( a little goes a long way) we will be back for more and are so excited for a new family spot for great pizza!!
Good pizza in an old/converted gas station. Fair prices and portions, friendly staff. I'd much prefer to support local families like this, than chain restaurants. We grabbed a large takeout pizza and visited a local winery.
Tried this place for the first time. Got the cannoli, coconut shrimp appetizer and the cheesesteak pizza. WOW! The shrimp was crispy and delicious. The pizza had a thin crispy crust and it was outstanding. Cannoli was homemade and exquisite. If I’m back in the area, we will eat there again.
